One True You is celebrating five years and YOU! Five years of successful outcomes, accomplishments, and achievements.
Join us in celebrating this special milestone! Even now, in times of uncertainty and continuous change, there is always, always something to be grateful for!
I'm thankful for all the amazing professionals I've been privileged to work with during the last five years and for the lives that have been changed as a result of our life coaching relationship!
Since 2015, One True You Coaching clients have changed companies, secured new positions, increased salaries (even in these uncertain times of COVID-19), enhanced leadership skills, received promotions, started-up businesses, retired early, relocated to warmer climates, improved relationships, shifted mindset, increased confidence, and so much more!
Five Life Lessons
There have been countless lessons learned during three decades as a Corporate leader in Global Pharmaceuticals and five years as a business owner, entrepreneur, life and career coach. Five of those insightful life lessons are shared:
1. Progress Not Perfection
Driving for perfection in business can result in a quick demise. One of the greatest lessons has been learning that imperfect action is okay. It's not about perfection. It's about moving forward. Taking the next step. Consistently taking action. Trusting yourself. Being patient.
Is it easy? No! On any given day, there's a spiral of emotions that go along with decisions made and actions taken. But staying focused on the desired outcome, making progress each day, and starting to see the vision unfold and take shape...that becomes powerful motivation.
2. Attitude of Gratitude
If you focus on the one thing that isn't going well, before you know it, that can escalate into a time-consuming, energy-draining challenge. Learning to pause, re-centering, focusing on the simple act of breathing, and clarifying intention helps time and time again to get through some of the most difficult challenges.
Choosing to focus on what you are grateful for at any given moment, no matter what the circumstances, always helps to positively shift the mindset and get back on track.
3. Variety Is The Spice of Life
There's a time to know when to say 'no', to let go, to release what isn't serving you, to change your environment, to reconnect with family, friends, and fun. Do what lifts your spirit, fills you with joy, and makes you laugh. Sparking your inner light allows you to keep going, achieve your dreams, and excel at what you do best!
4. The Past Is Not Where You Are Now
It's rewarding to reflect on all you've accomplished. The recognition, the results, the accolades. But in doing so, remember, it's not what you've done, but what you're still going to do. Your clients, customers, co-workers, and colleagues are looking for leadership, support, guidance, wisdom, and encouragement. Recognize your past accomplishments, but be present. Draw on the strengths of the past, and continue to step forward and serve.
5. Don't Go It Alone
A new idea becomes even greater when shared with others. Some of the greatest achievements and success stories have happened because of reaching out and engaging with others along the way. Do your best based on what you know. And, when you know more, do more. But when you try and do everything alone it takes longer to get there than by reaching out, and working with others.
